Smart Cara Pinta is an outstanding, very athletic filly, sired by Color me Smart, APHA's first $3.2 million cutting horse sire. Color Me Smart's sire is the legendary AQHA cutting horse Smart Little Lena. Smart Little Lena won over $740,000 in only 8 shows during the early 1980's and was the first NCHA Triple Crown Winner. After his remarkable show career in the cutting pen, Smart Little Lena sired offspring with NCHA earnings in excess of $34 million, making him the most influential sire of the cutting horse industry. Cara Pinta's immediate pedigree is further loaded with APHA/AQHA champions and champion producers such as Sonnys Amigo Bars, Tru Bruiser, Doc O'Lena and Docs Solano. Her cow horse breeding shows in her interest in investigating and chasing "moving objects", such as our dog. More than once did she chase him across the pasture. Quest is a double black homozygous stallion that has proven himself with several beautiful black and white and one buckskin and white babies on the ground this past spring. Each one is beautiful with his small head and striking conformation. He was shown in reining and did some winning before he came to us. We have not shown him. HIs Champion Sire, Comet, is shown in the pictures and write upbelow. HIs dam is an own daughter of the famous Tru Bruiser.
